Federal Register Notice
EPA announced 4/17/08 that they will hold a public meeting to “encourage input” on the ChAMP initiative under the Montebello Agreement.  Anyone who has an interest in risk assessment or chemicals policy should attend and submit comments.

Montebello Agreement Update
EPA has announced an initiative, the Chemical Assessment & 
Management Program (ChAMP), which will help fulfill the US 
chemicals management obligations under the Montebello 
Agreement.  
While there are still few details on a framework, EPA has already started conducting hazard and risk characterizations on HPV chemicals that were part of the HPV Challenge.
