The ANSI-HDSSC “Standard Data Interfaces in Security Applications” Workshop, “ Improving security technology through standard data interfaces” will take a close look at standards for digital sensor data that promotes interoperability and information sharing among security systems. A Keynote speaker from Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will provide an overview of standard data interfaces and its development. Public and private-sector experts will then present specific perspectives on “Concepts of Operation: Implementation and Benefits of Interoperable Images in the TSA Environment” as well as the current status of data interface standards. This one-day workshop aims to bring together the following stakeholders, including manufacturers of hardware, software, algorithms, and interfaces as well as standards development organizations, federal regulators, airport operators, academia, and the R&D community in an ANSI HDSSC venue to discuss their short-term and medium-term needs for interoperable image data. All ANSI and ANSI-HDSSC members, constituents, and other interested stakeholders are welcome to attend. The meeting will take place at the Capital Conference Center, which is located on the 6th floor at System Planning Corporation (3601 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201).
